Tiles: count, waste and cost

Grout gap adds to each tile's effective footprint — at 1/8″ gap, a 12″ tile uses 12.125″ on the floor.

Cuts at edges and around fixtures waste tile. Diagonal layouts need 15%+ waste; straight grids 10%.
